How team volunteering works. Greater DC Cares organizes teams of volunteers — ranging from 5 to 1,000 people — in ways that meet your goals.
Tailored plan for greater impact. Whether you want to foster communication between departments or closer ties to prospective clients, we’ll develop a customized plan to ensure maximum impact for both your company and your employees. We handle all logistics and volunteer management.
 
Business Shares includes project such as:
- Facilities Maintenance – Upgrading and beautifying schools and community centers and cleaning parks and rivers.
- Service Delivery – Preparing meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, providing companionship to the elderly and helping children with disabilities play sports.
- Summer of Service – Customized, hands-on, group volunteer projects geared toward your summer associate, new hire or intern program. Sample projects include harvesting at an urban garden or taking children on an outing.
Business Shares is a fee-for-service program.
