If your organization and its clients would benefit from assistance by a volunteer tutor or mentor, we invite you to use Greater DC Cares’ referral service.

How it works. We maintain a list of organizations throughout the region that are seeking tutoring and mentoring volunteers.

Through our referral service, your organization can advertise its needs to a pool of motivated, committed volunteers who can help support your tutoring and mentoring programming. Volunteers with access to this list have completed a one-hour orientation to learn about Greater DC Cares and how it works.

When we add your organization to the list, we’ll include a program description and contact information for your nonprofit. Interested volunteers use this list to identify organizations seeking tutors and mentors. Anyone who would like to work with your organization will contact you directly.
