You want to build a powerful nonprofit organization, but grants alone aren’t enough to fulfill your mission. Where can you get valuable resources — other than money — to meet your needs? Greater DC Cares!

• volunteers, pro-bono consultants, board members and in-kind goods and services; and


• trainings on topics like volunteer management, project development for pro bono consultants, and the development of corporate partnerships.

Get started now. To become a part of Greater DC Cares’ network, you have to be a community-based organization (nonprofit, public school, recreation center, etc.) that provides services to the people of the Washington region. To start, attend a brief orientation so we can tell you how our various programs work. Then we start connecting you with the resources you need!

Greater impact.  We go beyond hands-on volunteering and find some of this region’s most skilled volunteers to help in areas such as strategic planning, board development, and technology.

Greater value. As a nonprofit partner of Greater DC Cares, you gain easy access to wide range of non-monetary assets. We house programs like Executive Service Corps and COMPASS that can all be accessed through our nonprofit services team.
