In most of the programs and services we offer, Greater DC Cares’ role is to provide a well-managed, high-impact experience for every volunteer.

Volunteer Classifieds — Through these ads, we connect individuals who want to volunteer on their own with information about non-Greater DC Cares projects in the community.

Tutoring or Mentoring — Greater DC Cares maintains a list of organizations that are seeking tutors and mentors, along with program descriptions and contact information.

Group Volunteering (outside of employee volunteering) — Because of the large amount of time and effort it takes to produce a tailored group volunteer project,
Greater DC Cares usually provides these individualized services on a fee basis. However, you can find your own opportunities through a list we maintain of organizations that work with groups.
