Support Greater DC Cares!

To recognize the great impact one person can make in the community, Greater DC Cares created the Spark-a-Change Legacy Award.

Celebrate the power of one. Our award recognizes a leader in the region who, through extraordinary and consistent commitments both professionally and personally, has made a significant and lasting impact on the health of the region.

Shine the light on a nonprofit leader. That Legacy Award honoree also has the opportunity to shine a light on a nonprofit leader whose passion and work inspires her by naming the winner of the FireWORKS! Award, also given out during the Gala.

Join us for the 2007 Gala. Each year, business leaders, community leaders and other philanthropists come together to pay tribute and celebrate our honorees. Many businesses sponsor this exciting event to acknowledge the contributions of the awardee and to support the work of Greater DC Cares. We hope your company will join us for the 2007 Gala this fall!
